Hu Tao will be one of the best characters to use against Childe, as her single target Pyro DMG is one of the strongest in the game. Xingqiu and Albedo can provide supplemental off-field DMG and reactions, and Zhongli can provide shields to protect you from most attacks.

You'll need to keep a watchful eye on the shape his weapons take to know what to look out for. If he covers himself in a Hydro veil for a moment, there's an attack coming. Deal enough damage to the veil to break it, almost locking Childe into a stagger for as long as you keep the attacks coming.

70% is good for consistency. Just make sure your crit damage is equally high at 130% or more for that (or, at minimum at least 100% so you're not sacrificing DPS). Crit rate is only as good as the crit damage you output.

If you want bow character for their Charge shot/sniping gameplay, then Ganyu for sure. Most people use Childe for his melee skill. If you have Xiangling, Bennet C1, and Kazuha/ Sucrose then go for Childe.

They both scale based on Childe ATK (+ hydro damage bonus) the only thing that scales from ele mastery are reactions.

With regards to substats, Tartaglia focuses on CRIT Rate, CRIT DMG and ATK % with a Hydro DMG goblet to increase his Elemental Damage. CRIT Rate can actually be more important to Tartaglia due to it applying Riptide with his 4th Ascension Passive Sword of Torrents.

Because Tartaglia is his name, languages that used commedia names for the other Harbingers' aliases had to use a different alias for him.
